WHY MOST MEAL PLANS DON'T WORK LONG TERM

Most meal plans such as those you might find in ‘health’ magazines or online have two major problems:

They don’t factor in that  everybody is different in their nutrition needs

The meals on the plan are limiting and do not allow any flexibility to actually enjoy the food you eat

Upon purchasing a meal plan you will fill out an in-depth questionnaire that tells me about your goals, current situation, food preferences, schedule and everything else I need to make your plan

STEP 2

I CREATE YOUR MEAL PLAN

From your answers I start creating a meal plan that includes foods you like but also ensures you get sufficient nutrition and crucially ensures you make progress towards your goals.  This plan comes over to you within 2-3 working days.

STEP 3

YOU CHECK OUT YOUR PLAN

You check out your meal plan and let me know if any tweaks or changes are needed or if you have any questions, I make these if necessary, if not you get going!

STEP 4

YOU REPORT ANY ISSUES

If at any time along the way you run into any issues or difficulties with your plan then I am always available to answer any questions you might have and ensures everything goes smoothly for you

My meal plans include an allowance intake for foods and drinks (yes including alcohol!) that are not part of the specific meal plan; this allows you to still eat out, enjoy a glass of wine or beer (or 2) or have ice cream with friends each week and still be on track towards your goals

There is nothing worst than a meal plan that lists weird and wonderful foods that can only be found online, from a different country or are not available in the main supermarkets. My meal plans are much more than a simple list of meals you will get a full breakdown of the calories and macronutrients (protein, fat, carbs and fibre) that you need to ensure you cover all your nutritional bases, you will understand why you need the different amounts of these and what they do for your body.  Additional information such as water intake and supplements are also detailed (please do note however supplements are not needed to get fantastic results).  This understanding and education is incredibly helpful in ensuring you know why you are eating the foods and the amounts you eat them in

Life happens and you will not be able to perfectly follow the meal plan 100% the time- but guess what this is fine and completely normal, your meal plan will give advice on what to do when you eat ‘off plan’ yet still stay on track

WHAT DOES THE '80/20' MEAN IN YOUR MEAL PLANS?

The ‘80/20 meal plan’ concept is based around my key flexible dieting strategy which simply means that 80% of the foods on your plan will be helpful, nutritious, health promoting foods and the other 20% will be made up of any less helpful treat-based foods that you enjoy eating!

You see contrary to popular myths you don’t have to eat perfectly healthy ‘clean’ foods all the time to get fantastic results and in fact  it can actually be detrimental to do so because when you cut foods out of your diet that you enjoy you will likely want them more, eventually cave in and eat them… leaving you to feel as though you have ‘broken the diet’ or ‘come off the plan’. This then leads to feeling guilty, ashamed, confused and frustrated and in most cases carrying on with less healthy eating until at some point you decide to give it another shot (like on Monday or New Years day) 

My meal plans help you avoid this common pitiful by ensuring they are based around your preferences and your lifestyle, if you have no time to cook for example then overly complicated dishes that take an age to prepare just wouldn’t work!

No, the meal plan is a one off charge with no recurring costs

Your meal plan will be custom to you and your specific measurements, some of the meals may be something you can cook for the whole family but I will not creating it with them in mind as they will have different nutritional needs from you

Nope, the recipes I have can be used for meal options if you so wish (they are really good!) but if not I will list options without recipes

A workout plan is not included, I only do custom workout plans for my coaching clients but you can check out my workout programs for sale here, many people find combining a workout program with a meal plan hugely beneficial

Absolutely, I can create a meal plan to suit any dietary preferences

Yes, I will take in to account any food allergies or intolerances you may have when creating your meal plan 

Yes, I can work around any type of budget when creating your meal plan and healthy eating is not as expensive as you think when you focus on the right foods

Not necessarily, meal prep can be incredibly helpful for saving time and making following the meal plan easier (which is why I include my meal prep guide) but is isn’t essential, if time for meal prep is limited I will list options that require little or no preperation
